A low maintenance, formal garden with dining terrace and outdoor room. A small lawn for the dog. Two axes link internal/external spaces. The first progresses from the kitchen door, passing two multi-stemmed ornamental Crab apples underplanted with a stylised meadow, to the timber garden room. Its horizontal slats match the fence panels.

The second axis leads into the garden from the dining area, furnished with three standard Olive trees in glazed pots. Three multi-stem Lilac trees are underplanted with a woodland scheme to Colourful, herbaceous planting is concentrated close to the house. Bold forms and sultry colours are blended with Roses, Bearded Irises and ornamental grasses. The rust finish water bowl picks up these colours and introduces the refreshing sound of a water jet when required.
